Nothing new still no school won't go back till Monday we hope anyway. More snow Sunday night so it's a wait and see kind a of thing. Was 50 here today so some of the ice has melted but still lots out there and country roads are bad.
   Robert bought me this little glow in the dark dog you sit outside your door. It's cute will post a picture when I can

OK nothing special going on here. Have had no school for the last two days due to the ice storm we had Sunday night into Monday. It did nothing but rain ice for 24 hours straight.  Just thanking my lucky stars I still have power many around me don't. 
     Don't think I can play another game of Memory Match or Chutes and Ladders.
   We did make cookies yesterday and watched Monsters Inc.  but I hope they get the streets cleared soon, still covered with ice. Can't even get out of my drive way.
     Cleared all the ice off my SUV and that's about it. Roads not safe enough for 4 wheel drive........it's bad out there I tried to take pictures but my camera isn't working right or maybe I don't know how to work it ......yeah that's it  lol  ! 
   Have to get out soon more snow and ice expected Thursday night into Friday .....need to restock on milk and bread plus a few other things.

Lazy Day

 

This past week the weather has been off the wall. One day it's 60 the next day it's 20 with snow. We did finally get a nice snow only 6 inches but that's enough. Brandon played outside in the snow and him and a friend built a snow fort.  See picture below.. They had a snow day from school. They built it on Friday and it has already melted . Tomorrow it's suppose to be 68 go figure.

       
I finally have gotten over my strep throat has it for over a week ended up in the ER because of it. It was so bad I broke out with blisters on my tongue ...oh how painful. They have almost healed. I tell ya I wish that on no one.

   Nothing special going on just housework and laundry, want to help.
Silm fast is going pretty good. Down one pant size and 7 pounds already. Will keep working at it. One day at a time. 
   Cant wait till the 12th Jericho comes back on anyone watch that show? 
Not watching the super bowl  not a football person but will be glued to the tv to watch House afterwards.  I love that show.

   I don't spend to much time watching VH-1 but today I was bored. I didn't  know that VH-1 Classic Rock was running a campaign to educate people about Autism. Just Chatting

Not much to report on the home front, well Brandon missed 2 days of school this past week. It's cute how he says mommy my neck hurts referring to his sore throat, and he had a slight fever. Gave him some Tylenol cough and sore throat and it help ease the pain and get his fever down. Can you believe how many tylenol's they make for kids now, couch and cold & fever and pain you name it they got it. However we did got to the doctor just to make sure he didn't have streep throat and she gave us a script for amoxicillin. He seems to be doing better now.
      The weather has been unseasonable warm it's not a wonder the kids have been getting sick.

      Started my slim fast diet and lost 3 pounds this week. My goal is 75 but will be happy if I lose half that much. It's not hard for me since I like slim fast.  To help me along I told Robert for valentines day I want an exercise bike and not candy or flowers.  Still have a long way to go. So wish me luck

       Spent most of the day cleaning the kitchen but I have to give credit where credit is due Robert did the dishes.
  Did I tell you I bought all new appliances in black, got a side by side refrigerator  with ice maker......double oven stove with glass range top and a black chest freezer. I just love them  I have so many magnates and pictures on the frig you can hardly tell it's black ...lol
  I even replaced my table and chairs so the kitchen is all new. Next on the list is a dishwasher but will get that later   

      Well not much else going on so until next time ......

Starting Over........again

It has been 7 months since I have written in my journal. Life was to depressing and yet moving to fast to even jot it down. may things have happened and to reflect on this year would be to hurtful so I'm going to skip it.   Nothing good can come from it especially when you get screwed over by your own family. For this reason I am making my journal private and will send out invites for my friends only.
     The New Year will bring a new chapter in my life and a new beginning, one I want to share with my friends. Granted I am not the greatest writer but I will do my best to inform you and entertain you..
